Rice Alarms Reformist Arabs with Stability Remarks

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has alarmed many reformist Arabs with comments suggesting a new U.S. approach that promotes rapid political change without regard for internal stability.

Rice said in an interview with the Washington Post last week the Middle East status quo was not stable and she doubted it would be stable soon. Washington would speak out for “freedom” without offering a model or knowing what the outcome would be.

I think that’s an excellent plan. After all, what could be more “free” than total and complete anarchy? If freedom and liberty are the cure for radical Islam, than removing all semblance of laws and government should completely obliterate the problem.

All we need to do is invade the country, destabilize it, then send in The Gap, McDonalds, and Cinnabon to bring peace and happiness to the Muslim world. It’ll make a strong statement to everyone:

“C’mon, terrorists! Put down your guns, and pick up an Egg McMuffin! Who needs an externity with 42 virgins when you can have a Slurpee? Mmmmm, smell that? That’s the smell of liberty … and Outback Steak House. Let’s go eat — BBQ pork ribs for every extremist Muslim, on us!”
